BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Kalehua is a professional entertainer who has performed in Waikiki and other venues throughout the world for approximately 30 years. He is a talented artist, composer, musician, master of ceremonies and voice over talent. Though he plays several different musical instruments, the piano is his signature instrument, having played it from age nine. He also programs and arranges music for individuals as well as his own performances.

Having been a new artist himself and knowing what it’s like to establish a first rate reputation in the industry, Kalehua would like to support other newcomers in the field. Through Kalehua Productions, he has formed Kalehua Sound and Recording Studio and One Stop CD Duplicators, both offering competitive prices to support new artists as well as Hoku Award winners.

Kalehua is also gifted in the art of healing and is founder of the Hawaii Institute of Healing Arts. He believes and honors the history and cultural practices of his Hawaiian ancestry, along with the traditions and protocols of his other equally important ancestors. Kalehua uses his voice in chanting; harmonizing energies to allow movement towards higher states. In respect to his Hawaiian heritage, Kalehua uses his musical gifts to perpetuate love, to include truth, care and wisdom.
